Over seventy. Still curious.
And most of the time, traveling together.
I write.
He navigates.
And sometimes, at least in our heads, we switch roles.
We don’t travel in the fast lane.
We are not interested in ticking off as many places as possible, but in the roads in between:
conversations on the margins, small observations, places that promise nothing – and somehow stay.
For us, travel is not a hobby.
It is a way of moving through the world.
