We Love to Travel Light

The start of our three-month world trip – minimalist, of course.
Passports? Money? iPhone? – Check!
Everything else? More or less optional.
Although… “optional” is a flexible term. We’re pretty sure we haven’t forgotten anything important – in fact, we may have packed for everything that could possibly happen. Plus a little extra, just in case.
Luggage Comes in All Shapes

Ready for Takeoff
Hamburg Airport is surprisingly empty (have we ever seen it this quiet?). After a friendly chat at the Lufthansa check-in – just to make sure our bags don’t accidentally end up in Tokyo – we finally settle into the lounge.
They’re serving duck leg. We take that as a good omen.
The mountain of luggage rolls. Our hearts skip. And now we wait for that moment:
“This is your captain speaking…”
No Turning Back Now
From here, it’s only forward – through gates, across time zones, into the unknown.
We’re ready. So is our luggage.
And if we do forget something along the way? We’ll just pick it up: a smile here, a sunrise there – maybe even an extra suitcase.
